Author Registration For Atlanta & Sydney

In-person sessions are sold out to the general public. So that every accepted paper can be presented, each paper has one author place at the site where it is presented.

How to register

  1. See where your paper is presented on My Stuff.
  2. If you do not see your papers make sure that you are logging into the correct account.
  3. Agree with your co-authors who will present in person.
  4. That author registers on the registration page, signed in to the NeurIPS account listed on the paper.
  • Once the place is taken, the session shows as sold out to the paper's other authors.
  • An author of several papers uses only one place.
  • A ticket from the public sale, a complimentary registration, a travel award or a waitlist invitation does not use a paper's place.

If you can't attend

Cancel on the registration page, or switch to a Virtual Only Pass, as soon as possible: the place is freed at once for a co-author. Cancellations are refunded until November 5, 2026 (cancellation policy); after that you can still cancel, without a refund. Co-authors who cannot register can join the waitlist.

Workshops, tutorials, competitions and affinity events

Organizers: you can register now, even though sessions are sold out. In your organizer portal (linked from My Stuff), assign your event's complimentary registrations, for example to invited speakers, and import your event's papers and authors by October 4 (AoE): their authors cannot register until you do.

Workshop paper authors: your paper appears on My Stuff once the organizers add it to the workshop schedule, and the same one-place-per-paper rule applies. If it does not appear, contact the workshop organizers.
