Keynote — Jack Yang

Dr Jack Yang currently is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, UNSW Sydney, where he leads the research of materials studies with artificial intelligence. He has a range of research interests spanning high-throughput computational materials screening, structure predictions, discoveries of structure-property relationships in functional materials, as well as AI model developments. He is particularly interested in the phononic properties of materials that play an important role in determining thermal, electronic, optical and superconducting behaviours of materials. He is also a member of the UNSW Research Technology Service under the PVCRI, which facilitates the applications of HPC and data-driven research across the University.
