Call for Education Proposals

The Neural Information Processing Systems Foundation solicits proposals for under $25k to support educational activities in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Educational activities can be geared toward any age group or educational level, from grade school to senior faculty. We are particularly interested in workshops, programs, and web-based materials aimed at improving the training of young researchers and to improve the quality of scientific contributions to the field. Activities with the potential for broad impact and reach will be prioritized, as will activities that take place at or around our Annual Conference.

The proposal deadline for 2025 has passed. The deadline for 2026 is March 1. We aim to review proposals within a month. Please submit a proposal of 2 pages or less and a budget to education-proposals@neurips.cc
