NeurIPS 2025 Position Paper Track FAQ
Q: Paper and abstract due date?
A: The full-paper submission date for the Position Paper Track is May 22, and the date for the main (research) track is May 15. There is no abstract submission for the Position Paper Track.
Q: How do we format the title?
A: Just as you would for a main track NeurIPS paper. You do not need to write “Position Paper” in the title of your paper.
Q: Separate template for position paper track?
A:There is no separate template for the Position Paper track, just use the main track template. Papers have a nine page limit.
Q: Checklist needed for position paper track?
A: No checklist is needed.

Q: Is attendance mandatory for accepted papers?
A: We encourage physical attendance in principle, but we are always keeping an eye on the possibilities of other presentation forms. There is no confirmed policy at the moment and the formal policy will be announced when the conference gets closer.
Q: Will position papers be considered for talks and posters?
A: Yes, just like papers in the main track, accepted Position Paper will have posters or oral presentations at the main conference.
