Abstract
This paper researches the phenomenon of underspecified executable instructions. When people read and execute an instruction and these executions differ, it could be explained by the instruction being underspecified. We investigate this phenomenon on the Hexagon dataset and analyse the types of underspecifications. We propose to annotate instances of underspecified executable instructions and to predict if, where and how an instruction could be made more specific.
