Human Gesture Recognition using Spiking Input on Akida Neuromorphic Platform

Abstract:
This demo, implemented on the Akida neuromorphic platform, demonstrates a novel multilayer convolutional spiking neural network capable of learning human hand gestures in an unsupervised manner. The system is lightweight in terms of data requirement and efficient in terms of power consumption.
