The AI for Social Good “social” is focused on research and solution development in the AI for Social Good field. The social is open to all and is intended for both research-centered attendees and attendees concerned with engineering in socially-relevant problem domains.

The networking happy hour will include a series of talks from practitioners in the AI for Social Good applications space. The talks will range from practical applications of AI to solve humanitarian challenges, difficulties/obstacles in using AI to solve these challenges, and what the future holds for this new field.

The last part of the social will feature a pitch component, in which we will ask those in attendance to do a quick pitch on their idea to apply AI to potentially solve a challenge facing humanity.
