Complimentary wifi will be provided in all NIPS meeting areas. The wifi network requires a password.

Internet Cafe

Rooms 512A-G on Level 5 of the Palais des Congres will be available as a dedicated internet cafe 24x7 during the tutorials and conference. We will provide:

• Power for laptops
• Plug-in ethernet access (i.e. for anyone having wifi problems)
• A few free guest kiosk computers
• Workspace

Security

Systems are vulnerable, especially in a conference setting. So please ensure that your computer software is up-to-date before the conference. Run the updater for your operating system and install pending updates. Also be sure to update any software which requires independent updates, such as:

• Browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE, Opera)
• Flash plugin (Go here to see if you have the latest version)
• Anti-virus definitions
