Wifi

Complimentary wifi will be provided in all NIPS meeting areas. The wifi network requires a WPA2 password.

Internet Cafe

The Garden Room (near Harvey's 3rd floor promenade) is going to be available as a dedicated internet cafe 24x7 during the tutorials, conference, workshops. We will provide:

• Power for laptops
• Plug-in ethernet access (i.e. for anyone having wifi problems)
• A few free guest kiosk computers
• Lots of workspace

Guest Room Access

Although there is technically paid guest room wifi, it is not robust and we do not expect it to work during the NIPS conference. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Security

Systems are vulnerable, especially in a conference setting. So please ensure that your computer software is up-to-date before the conference. Run the updater for your operating system and install pending updates. Also be sure to update any software which requires independent updates, such as:

• Browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE, Opera)
• Flash plugin (Go here to see if you have the latest version)
• Anti-virus definitions
