Travel Support
NIPS makes funding available to support the travel of young investigators, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students to attend NIPS 2004. Travel awards are in the amount of $400 (US) for travel from the US and within Canada and $600 (US) for participants arriving from elsewhere. Awards are based on merit, and weighted by need. Applicants who have received NIPS travel awards for two or more previous Conferences have a lower priority. Conference registration is not covered by travel awards.
The Deadline for receipt of travel award applications is October 15, 2004. Applicants will be informed of the results by November 1, 2004.
